Presenting an evening
with Erin Brooks of Ernest Vineyards
Thursday, April 11, 6:30-8:30pm
At a private home in Dolores Heights, San Francisco
Erin Brooks started Ernest in 2012 along with her husband, Todd Gottula, when both were at a crossroads with their careers and yearned to return to their agricultural roots. Erin grew up farming cotton and herding cattle in West Texas. Todd’s family were citrus farmers in Central California.
The name Ernest, after Todd’s grandfather, serves as a reminder to seek and honor inspiration. Ernest Vineyards is a boutique producer of small-lot, single-vineyard Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from very cool, maritime climates allowing for wines of complexity and restraint.
We will be pouring
San Lucas Vineyard Rosé of Cinsault 2018
Cleary Ranch Chardonnay "The Farmer" 2016
Upp Road Vineyard Pinot Noir "The Artist" 2015
Rayhill Vineyard Pinot Noir "The Grandfather" 2014 (1.5L)
